I’m Angie. A mindfulness teacher and creative writer based in Suffolk.
Mindfulness and creative writing are a magical combination.
Mindfulness helps us develop a certain quality of awareness and attention to ourselves and our surroundings. It gets us in a headspace where we can let our imaginations run free and flow as easily and gently as our breath.
I combine teaching mindfulness with the art of creative writing to enable you to become more present, calm, creative and expressive.
Through workshops I guide you gently through practices and exercises that enable you to become present and let your imagination flow.
I welcome those new to both mindfulness and writing. All you need is an open mind, a notebook and a pen.
Practise mindfulness and let your words flow
We practise mindfulness to ground ourselves in the present moment and then use the tool of creative writing to free our thoughts, emotions and imaginations.
Everyone has a story to tell, something to say. I use creative prompts and ideas to stimulate your imagination, this could be words, music or images. There is no need to share your work unless you want to.
I trained in mindfulness with leading organisation Breathworks. I have written both professionally and creatively for many years.
